YAMAHA Golf Cart Parts Manuals:
Yamaha golf carts typically have a sticker with information such as year model and model type located on the rear body. On most models you can locate this sticker by lifting the seat and looking for a White label around the rim of the seat base. If the vehicle has been painted, usually this sticker is often gone. If there is no label, you can also decode the serial number. The serial number sticker is often but not always located on the inner lip of the vertical part of the dash. The manuals below specify which model they are for on the first page. For example, a JU01-0xxxxx is a 2003 model Yamaha G22 48V Electric Golf Cart whereas a JW11x-0xxxxx is a 2007 Yamaha G29 Drive with Petrol engine.
E-Z-GO Golf Cart Parts Manuals:
Determining the type and year of EZGO Golf Carts can be tricky. The 48 Volt Electric E-Z-GO RXV can be spotted easily as it is the only model that uses four 12V deep cycle batteries. The TXT comes as 36V (6x6 volt Batteries) or 48V deep cycle batteries (6x8 volt batteries). On later models there is a sticker on the left hand side of the steering column that has the serial number and date code. The last 2 numbers on the date code are the year. For example, L1216 would be a 2016 model. Older models, will often have a plate inside the passenger glove box compartment area that contains information about the golf carts manufacturing date and VIN number.
Club Car Golf Cart Parts Manuals:
Older (up to late 90's) Club Car DS models have a metal plate on the lower center part of the dashboard. Newer (2000's on) Club Car DS models have a sticker in the same spot. Older (mid 2004-2008) Club Car Precedent golf carts have the serial number in the passengers side glovebox. New Club Car Precedents have the serial number located on the passenger side lower inner dash vertical support. With all Club Car models, the first letter(s) are the model, the first two numbers are the year. For example, a AQ07xx-xxxxxx is a a 48V Electric 2007 Club Car DS Golf Cart.
