Yamaha Drive 2 Upgrades! Lithium, Navitas and more.

This is our 2020 Yamaha Drive 2 electric Golf Cart. It was originally running lead-acid batteries and standard Neos controller however we have upgraded to a Voltrac 62Ah Pulse lithium battery along with a Navitas TAC2 600a controller with 4kw motor.

On top of this, we added some upgraded Luxury seats for more comfort, a tinted split fold windshield, dash basket for extra storage, a Beige rear bag cover, 2 x sand bottles, a Deluxe LED lighting kit with headlights, taillights, blinkers and horn.

The wheels were upgraded from the standard 8 inch steel wheels to 14 inch wheels with lower profile tyres.

This Yamaha now performs extremely well with improved acceleration, top speed, combined with the weight saving of switching to a Lithium battery, replacing the heavy 6 x 8 volt batteries previously fitted.
